In elementary school Satoshi was often picked on for his albinism, resulting in his very shy, reserved personality. His parents divorced when he was a toddler, and his mother took him to the United States. However, she and her son grew increasingly distant as she became the CEO of a large company, her career replacing time with Satoshi. He felt indifferent, and went on with his life as usual. But when his best friend Elisha died 1 year ago of a terminal illness, he cut himself off from everyone and began getting homeschooled. His interest in video games and computer programming/building grew, to a point where he has become almost obsessed with it now.
